Full Description of Ek Tha Tiger
Ek Tha Tiger is an upcoming Hindi language romantic thriller. The film will be produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Kabir Khan. This will be his third collaboration with the banner after Kabul Express (2006) and New York (2009). Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were confirmed to play the lead roles at a press conference held on May 3, 2011 at Yashraj Studios. It was scheduled to release on 1 June, 2012, but since Aamir Khan wanted to release his next film, directed by Reema Kagti, on 1st June, he requested Salman Khan & Aditya Chopra to shift Ek tha Tiger to accommodate this release. Given the close relationship and mutual respect Aamir Khan, Aditya Chopra and Salman Khan share, the release of Ek Tha Tiger is shifted to Eid 2012.
Directed by Kabir Khan and Produced by Aditya Chopra, the romantic-thriller "EK THA TIGER", stars Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
The story is by Aditya Chopra and the Screenplay & Dialogues have been written by Kabir Khan and Neelesh Misra. Aseem Mishra, who has worked with Kabir on New York, will be the DOP.
The music will be scored by Pritam. The film starts shooting early July and is slated for a mid-2012 release.
This will be Salman Khan's first venture with Yashraj Films, whereas his father, Salim Khan, has written Trishul (1978), Kaala Patthar (1979) earlier for the banner. Also, director Kabir Khan teams up with Katrina Kaif and Aseem Mishra again after the successful New York.
Filming began on August 10, 2011 and the film is set to release next year (Eid 2012). It is being filmed in five different countries, including Ireland and Turkey. On 9 August 2011, Yashraj Films announced that they will be releasing the first look of the film in form of a digital poster, which was released on August 10, 2011. It is the first Bollywood film ever to do so.
The film's original score and soundtrack will be composed by Sohail Sen, who already has begun working on the film. The lyrics will be penned by Neelesh Misra.
Some Screens of Ek Tha Tiger
Kochadaiyaan, Soundarya Rajinikanth’s mega budget film has been the talk of the town since its initiation. Beginning with the long line of prominent actors in its cast followed by the rift between the two sisters Soundarya and Aishwarya over release dates, Rajinikanth’s health and finally now the poster. The poster shows Rajinikanth portraying one of Lord Shiva’s poses. He sports long hair and a beard along with accessories on his hair, neck and leg. While the physique looks like the work of a ‘mouse’ we are sure Rajini’s fans will be over-thrilled to see the actor in the new avatar.
In the film however, Rajini plays an eighth century Pandya king who is known for his legendary valour. Soundarya released the first look of the film on Twitter. The music of the film is created by AR Rahman while KS Ravikumar will handle the microphone. Besides Rajinikanth the other stars in the movie include Katrina Kaif, Shobhana, Jackie Shroff, Prithviraj, Sarathkumar and more. While we eagerly wait for the film to hit the screens, tell us what you think about the poster.
